Ingredients
- 8 oz (225 g) smoked salmon (or cooked salmon)
- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese (softened)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
- Fresh dill or chives (chopped, to taste)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Blend Ingredients: In a food processor, combine the smoked or cooked salmon, cream cheese, butter, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard (if using). Blend until smooth.
- Season: Add chopped dill or chives, and season with salt and pepper. Blend briefly to mix.
- Chill: Transfer the pâté to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least an hour to let the flavors meld.
- Serve: Serve chilled with crackers, toasted bread, or vegetable sticks.
